the litter quilt
Environmental intervention
While I was a student at Oxford Brookes I collected litter with two other students on my course. We 'stitched' the litter together with sticky-tape to create a litter quilt measuring 10m x 7m. We then invited everyone at the university to join us on a litter trail and the unfolding of the litter quilt; a public intervention to demonstrate the extent of littering on our campus.

In 2012 I repeated the project at Neston School where my daughter is a pupil, again to demonstrate the extent of littering and its effect on the school environment.
