Where do you come from?
Gambia.
How long have you lived in England?
13 years.
How long have you lived in Chippenham?
Eight years.
Where do your family live?
Gambia.
My proudest achievement ...
when my son was born.
The best thing anyone said to me ...
that I am the best dad ever.
My greatest wish is ...
to see world peace.
Something that changed my life ...
my first employment back in Gambia, farming.
My most treasured possession ...
a gold watch given to me by my mum.
The last time I cried ...
when Ghana lost the World Cup.
My favourite bit of Chippenham ...
Monkton Park because I can play basketball and sit by the river.
Chippenham would be the perfect place to live if ...
the parking charges were less.

Every day, for the duration of the exhibition at the Yelde Hall, I will post a new Hidden Presence interview. Please come back to find out about some of the people who represent the diversity of Chippenham.
Hidden Presence is a joint arts and heritage project partnered by:
Chippenham Museum
Wiltshire County Council
Pound arts centre
PLaCE, University of the West of England
These are projects and ideas that are currently in development.
These projects form the body of my work to date.
Our community is diverse and enriched by people from foreign cultures settling among us. The aim of Hidden Presence is to acknowledge the diversity of our community, and our similarities with people from all over the world.
