Subject name

Age

Where do you come from?
Israel.
How long have you lived in England?
25 years.
How long have you lived in Chippenham?
About 20 years.
Where do your family live?
Israel and Singapore.
What is your occupation?
I am a teacher.
The living person I admire ...
is Grayson Perry.
I admire him because ...
of his ability to convey complex ideas in a visually exciting way.
When I have time to myself I ...
make stuff with fabric and paper. I also like to read books, listen to music and admire nature.
My proudest achievement ...
my daughters.
Something that changed my life ...
was getting married to someone from a different culture.
My happiest memory ...
is taking my baby back home.
My favourite bit of Chippenham ...
is the river Avon.
Chippenham would be the perfect place to live if ...
it was more family-friendly in the evenings, and my family lived here too.

Every day, for the duration of the exhibition at the Yelde Hall, I will post a new Hidden Presence interview. Please come back to find out about some of the people who represent the diversity of Chippenham.
Hidden Presence is a joint arts and heritage project partnered by:
Chippenham Museum
Wiltshire County Council
Pound arts centre
PLaCE, University of the West of England
These are projects and ideas that are currently in development.
These projects form the body of my work to date.
Our community is diverse and enriched by people from foreign cultures settling among us. The aim of Hidden Presence is to acknowledge the diversity of our community, and our similarities with people from all over the world.
