Kay Willis

The book I'm reading currently
I like old fashioned books. I think I'll take this one, Marrying the mistress, Joanna Trollope. I also rather like autobiographies and cowboy stories, westerns. I don't mind a murder now and again as long as it's not too blood thirsty.

A book that had a big impact on me
Not really I don't think, they all tell me something. You can learn an awful lot from reading books.

My desert island reading
I'd have a good old mixture of books; a detective one, a romantic one, a cowboy one.

My choice of lifetime magazine subscription
My Friend or something like that. It's a ladies magazine with all sorts in it, stories, letters, horoscopes.

My must-see film
Schindler's List I would think.

My guilty-pleasure telly
Coronation Street and Eastenders, I'm afraid.

And I like travel ones, documentaries.

My radio turn-on and turn-off
Radio 2 and Wiltshire Radio, that's what we listen to. We always stick to the same one.

My favourite work of art
The Hay Wain by Constable.

The weekend paper I am most likely to pick up
The Daily Mirror.

The section of the weekend paper I read first
My horoscope.

A piece of music that makes me smile
I like ABBA, anything by ABBA. Dolly Parton too.

A piece of music that makes me cry
I don't like Abide with me, the hymn, that's ghastly, I can't stand that one. I like to be cheerful at all times.
