The book I'm reading currently
I've just returned a load of books to the library. One called Golden Boy, Abigail Tarttelin, was really interesting. It was original and not something I've ever read about before. It was about a hermaphrodite. The viewpoint went between him, his girlfriend, his mother and brother and dad. He got raped and got pregnant and no-one knew he was a hermaphrodite.

The Dead Wife's Handbook, Hannah Beckerman, is about a woman who died and she can see what's going on with her family and their lives moving on.

A book that had a big impact on me
Kathy's Story by Kathy O'Beirne, really sad, it was about child abuse. It makes you put your life into perspective when you hear about someone else's traumatic life. It's a true story.

My desert island reading
Malorie Blackman the Noughts and Crosses series. They're teen stories mostly, I read them all when I was younger. They were very interesting, to do with racism, poverty, war. People from opposite sides fall in love.

My choice of lifetime magazine subscription
I don't really read intellectual magazines, I read Love It, true stories like 'my boyfriend left me for my sister' that sort of stuff. I hate celebrity magazines, they're really boring, they're boring people.

My must-see film
I do love Disney films. I like Brave, she doesn't have to fall in love for once. I also liked The Fault in our Stars about two teenagers with cancer who meet at a support group and fall in love. It's quite sad.

My guilty-pleasure telly
Jeremy Kyle.

My radio turn-on and turn-off
I don't really listen to the radio. I do listen to music on my phone or the odd CD.

My favourite work of art
I do quite like Banksy. I also like The Scream by Edvard Munch and The Starry Night by Vincent van Gogh, I love that painting.

The weekend paper I am most likely to pick up
Probably just The Sun, it's the only one I really know.

The section of the weekend paper I read first
I quite like the horoscopes and the problem pages. I like reading people's views and opinions on a story.

A piece of music that makes me smile
I love Christmas songs, they're jolly and festive and remind me of a good time of year.

A piece of music that makes me cry
Music in films but that is probably because of what is happening in the film.
