The book I'm reading currently
Mostly little kids books. A lot of Where's Spot because since having Eleanor I don't have the time to read for myself.

A book that had a big impact on me
A book that had an impact on me in that it gave me nightmares was called Room by Emma Donoghue. It is written from the point of view of an only child and he and his mum are imprisoned in a room. I do remember that book really, really well.

My desert island reading
A set of Roald Dahl books because they're always entertaining and not too heavy. I read them when I was younger but they are the kind of books you can read again because you see them differently.

My choice of lifetime magazine subscription
National Geographic. A lot of magazines are utter nonsense, at least there'll be something in the National Geographic that will be interesting.

My must-see film
My favourite films are Wes Anderson films, like Life Aquatic and the latest one was called The Grand Budapest Hotel. His films are very visual and quirky.

My guilty-pleasure telly
I do find myself watching Made in Chelsea. I don't watch any soaps or anything like that but that's my one bit of nonsense.

My radio turn-on and turn-off
I like listening to Six Music because it's varied and also with different presenters you get totally different music. My radio turn-off is adverts.

My favourite work of art
I like Klimt.

The weekend paper I am most likely to pick up
The i.

The section of the weekend paper I read first
I quite often do the puzzles, suduko, the crossword if it's an easy one.
